Starting week four in Wee Waa!

Kate and Roger came to visit on Wednesday last week and stayed until today.  Bun was cooking tea the other night with help from Kate.  He had never used a steamer pan before and when he was mashing the potatoes, he didn't realise that he was pushing it all through the holes!!  He wondered why there was mash on the draining board and the milk hadn't mixed in properly hahahaha

Tea at the pub was a great meal on Friday night, Kate had snapper with an Asian salad that she rated very highly.

Saturday afternoon was quite warm and sunny so I had a swing in the garden.

We played games of Mexican Trains, a domino type game, with Kate and Roger and poor Bun managed to get a score of 506 where you need to score 0 to win!  He played out the whole game just picking up more dominoes without getting a start.

On Sunday we took a drive to Bingara with a look at Sawn Rocks and a glacial area on the way.

Some people just feel the need to fly sometimes :)

The Art Deco cafe next to the Roxy Theatre in Bingara was a step back in time.  The food was great too.

There are many orange trees planted along the streets in the town for a very good reason.

I like the idea on this canvas!

We loved the company for the few days that Kate and Roger were here.  We have just started our 4th week here and Robbie will be back late on Wednesday next week.  We are planning to have tea at the pub (again) on Friday next week with the girls (and their husbands) that I have been working with before leaving on the weekend.

Our plan for the trip home is still quite fluid, depending on what is going on with the kids, weather, etc. however we will be home by about 25th July at the latest.

Cheers
Anne
