Warning.....Photo heavy post!

Bear with me because there's a lot to catch up on!!

Loved these ugg boots!

Saw this one of facebook and it reminded me of Callie and Ashlee!!
I reckon you would need the packet below!  It was in a camping store in Rockingham and gave us such a giggle when we read the instructions LOL

Sometimes you just like to browse :)

I had another go at hot cross buns, following Ben's instructions :)   He has surpassed me in the cooking stakes these days.

Callie and Ben visiting Kate over Easter.

We took the train to Perth from Rockingham and watched lots of kids enjoying the water feature.  We spent some time with Peter and Bev, relatives of Fiona.  It was nice to be settled somewhere over Easter and not on the roads.  Bun was also able to get the motorbike looked at and was very happy with the result.  Now he just needs to get away from towns so that he can give it a try.

We also saw David as he and Nat had been in Perth for his work.  He took the train down to Rockingham and we had fish and chips on the Esplanade.

Bun was a bit confused at the train station, he was looking for the sign for the toilets and thought it was a toilet that was up and down??? Um no.....it was the sign for the lifts LOL

Just near Peter and Bev's place is a fantastic spot for kite-surfing so we wandered down for a look. There was certainly enough wind for them but it was pretty cold.

We shifted camp on the Wednesday before Anzac Day so that the truck and van were in a storage area.  It only cost us $6 per night so that was a bargain!  After flying back Thursday morning, Callie and I and her bridesmaids, Ashlee and Renae, went to a bridal shop for her to try some dresses on.  It was a funny afternoon but no dresses were bought :)  After tea with Josh and Kara, the rest of us drove back to Winkie.
Ben, Bun and I got up early Friday and attended the Dawn Service at Barmera.   Later in the afternoon, Josh, Kara and Kasiah arrived, along with Steph, and Bun got to cuddle a little girl to sleep xxxx

Saturday started very early with Steven up at 5am!  George and Corey were at Winkie by 5.30 to get the spits under way.  The weather was kind to us, not too hot, cold or windy.

Photobomber!!

The girls wanted to get in the shot :)

Kara mentioned this week that we had 4 generations in this photo, I hadn't realised!!

Patty made the amazing cake for Callie and Steven, it had pink hearts through the centre.  I talked to Patty later and she had been working on this idea for weeks :))

I asked this motley crew to turn for the camera and below is what I got!

The sweethearts eventually turned the right way :)

Sylvana will be happy to see that Steven loved the cheesecake she made, it had Toblerone and Maltesers in it.

It was a lovely day and I think it had the relaxed, casual feel that Callie and Steven were after.  Thanks to all the family and friends who helped out in a number of ways and also everyone who came.
Callie and Steven are also very grateful for the generosity shown and will be receiving their new Thermomix next week!!  Callie is very impatiently waiting for the delivery :)

We headed back to Adelaide Sunday afternoon and spent a bit more time with Josh and Kara and Kasiah.  Poor Kasiah has been teething recently and no-one is getting lots of sleep in their house :(
Josh took us to the airport before work on Monday morning as the flight left at 6.30am.
We got back to Perth late after 300kph headwinds!  Later in the day we caught up with Megan Spangler and her beautiful boy, Bronson.  He is a sweet baby, only 6 months old.  Callie says she is offended that we don't cuddle with Storm this way, but I said he didn't really give us a choice LOL

We left Perth Tuesday morning and went inland for a while and ended up back at Dalwallinu to see Dot and Ray at the farm.  It was lovely to see them again and we stayed for 2 nights.  Yesterday we got to Geraldton and got a few little maintenance jobs down on the van and the truck as well as stocking up on groceries.  We will leave here tomorrow and go up the coast to Horrocks Beach and then to Kalbarri. Rain is forecast along the coast for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday I think, so it will depend on the weather and the roads when we go to Murchison as there are gravel roads on the way.
