Monday morning we drove to Geraldton and set up for an overnight stay.  After one wrong turn (my fault lol) we found the surf shop and with some much-needed advice, got a surfboard!  Bun got an IOU from me and the kids for his birthday 2 years ago!! Now he's finally managed to call it in so a drink to celebrate was called for :))

As we intend to travel up the coast later in the year, we left Geraldton without seeing anything really.  We decided to go back along the beaches to find somewhere for the 'L' plate surfer haha.

We are now back at Pt Dennison-Dongara, there is a lovely beach just near the caravan park so we have been frequenting that.  Close enough to go down 3 times a day with breaks in between because of the heat (41-42) or because we're buggered and need a nap LOL.

There was a big kiteboarding event on over the weekend and trust me, the wind conditions were perfect for them. It was blowing a gale!

Just for Jeff Martin!  Yes he can get up!  He does say though that he's got some sore muscles ;)

We went down for a late session last night and then sat on the beach with a drink so that we could see the sunset.

Bun telling me that I was missing the best light because I was watching the birds :)

Just for Sylvana!! We both thought this would be Max!!!
