A couple of photos taken before we left Winkie.

And then we were back at Killawarra.  It has been another lovely time spent with the Hirst family!  They've said that they want us to come back again so hopefully we will be back, maybe next year?

Phoebe and Bridgit are at school now and wanted photos with us to take to school for 'Show and Tell' hahaha, so cute!

Heidi didn't want to be in photos or say goodbye....she'll be three next week so she didn't really get that she wouldn't be able to 'go see Anne at the cababan'!!

Tinkle and Dozer like to supervise, Bun enjoyed helping in the garden again.

This time we got a photo with Mim as well.

Woody is the poddy calf who came calling one morning.

Finger buns and cream buns went down well with the girls after school.

And Spotty just likes to decide to come for a ride, he didn't listen when Bun said no and simply jumped up!

After spending three weeks at Killawarra, we headed to Noosa to catch up with Garry and Leslee.  Their home is beautiful with the most gorgeous view towards the coast.  The kookaburras must keep an eye out for people being out on the deck and fly in regularly for a feed.  They are very comfortable around people, especially the ones with food!

We visited the Eumundi Markets on Saturday and that was a little overwhelming, there are over 600 stalls apparently.  Bun not being the market type, we were not there all day of course!  It was probably only about 2 hours but I could have wandered along for a lot longer by myself haha.

Thanks to Garry and Leslee, we also got to see the Farmers Market for shopping and tasting as well as a great day driving through some gorgeous countryside.

We took the ferry along Noosa river to while away a day.  It was a lovely sunny day and quite mild, although Bun has his jacket on, it was more that he couldn't be bothered carrying it I think.

After Noosa, we went to Maryborough for a couple of nights.  I didn't know that the author of Mary Poppins came from the town.  They have a festival dedicated to her and a statue in the main street.

We also had a day checking out Hervey Bay.  After getting a postcard from Ron Dolling each year while they 'wintered' up north, we felt we should visit.  It is so much bigger than we had imagined, way too many people for Bun's liking!
We had hoped that it might have worked out that we could catch up with Martin and Belinda with them coming up from the Gold Coast but the weather was windy and rainy and not really working in our favour....next time!!

We took a very 'scenic' route back towards Killawarra, staying at Lake Broadwater overnight just out of Dalby.
We've just had another few days at the farm and then left this morning to head towards Gunnedah.  We will be visiting friends that we met 2 years ago when we were over this way to work at Wee Waa.

Then we are on the way home to Winkie.  We will spend about 6 weeks at home, well between trips to Adelaide as well!  There are a few appointments to attend, visits to the kids, a special birthday party to go to, the ute to be serviced, packing to be done, etc, etc. before we leave on the next adventure....and that will be going to the Dampier Peninsula above Broome to caretake on one of Paspaley Pearl's properties for 6 months!!  Bun is really looking forward to it, but I have taken some time to get my head around it haha
I'm not really a fan of humid weather and this will take us almost right through the wet season, however I'm starting to get used to the idea.  I did say that if there was no Skype to talk to the kids, that would be a deal-breaker haha!  Also I will be wanting to have at least one flight home during that time, because I could not wait until Feb/March to meet the new arrival...Josh and Kara's baby girl is due in late October :)

The internet is pretty slow tonight so I'll leave it at that and update again once we are home again.
Cheers!
