So we are in the midst of packing and trying to work out how to fit everything in the ute!!
We will be leaving next Monday for Broome and hope to do our induction and paperwork the following Monday.  Then we will go north to Deep Water Point on the eastern side of the Dampier Peninsula.  When we tried to find it on Google maps, it took us to a cafe in Perth?  Anyway it is below Cape Leveque and it's about 3 hours north of Broome, dirt road almost all the way!

We've been home for the last 6 weeks, with many trips to Adelaide and back.  Obviously we were seeing the kids as well as being there for Kasiah's 2nd birthday party.  It is hard to believe that it's two years already!!

I haven't really sorted the photos into date order but you get the drift :)

Kasiah loves to dance with Daddy!  I'm not so sure on his music choice haha

The whistles were a great hit!

Kara has started taking Kasiah to a Kindergym at Athelstone and we got to go along last week.  Kasiah loves it and we loved watching her!

We found this guy outside the caravan window when we got up one morning on the last trip.  He was quite curious and was happy to eat carrots too.

I love this photo!!

These possums were in the tree next to the van in Gunnedah and were happy to eat almonds offered by Bun.

I couldn't believe how tiny this little guy was, he lives at the caravan park by the river in Nyngan.

The Thief!!

I was lucky that Ben had a spare ticket to see this show, it was amazing....Thanks Ben xxx

I've been crocheting, stitching, baking, etc,   I think I've perfected the cinnamon scrolls too!

Little Miss Kasiah could be a hairdresser, she gives a great head massage already :)

Stevie came up for a short visit and Bun is always happy to have a dog around for company.

We have loved seeing the family and are having a very social week in the Riverland catching up with friends too.  If I'm lucky I might not have to cook too many more meals before we go haha
The pantry, freezer and fridge are looking very bare now so eating out on the coming weekend is a strong possibility!

On a more serious note, for all friends who are our age and above...if you have not used the Bowel Cancer Screening Kit that you received in the mail when you turned 50 (or in Bun's case...55)....please use it!!
I had a positive result earlier in the year and a large pre-cancerous polyp removed.  Now our kids have been advised to do a screening test and also to start having colonoscopies from the age of 40 instead of 50.  As you can imagine, they love me now!!

Well we are going to have a 'photo challenge' while we are up north, Bun has Callie's old Canon and I have the Olympus so I will try to be fair when loading photos onto the blog.  We will both be trying to improve our skills and people have said that the storms will be good material for that.

I think we're about up-to-date now so the next post will be from the top of WA.

Cheers

Anne
